Editing Blog: Putting it Together

My group and I have officially started our editing process! We all met up with each other to start editing. We all discussed about the scenes that we took when filming. I told my group members that I had choose the scenes that I thought were best. They had done the same thing which was great. We decided that we would look through each other’s, and pick the best ones. After the footage, we imported all of it onto our editing software. Once it was on the software, we made sure the footage was the correct ones. Then we started placing them in the correct order. I also thought of transitions that would be best while we did this. It was really cool to see our film coming together.
We started off with the house scenes. We got these in order and then moved onto the park scenes. Once these were in order, we went on the the stalker scenes, and lastly the alley scenes. Once all the scenes were together, the movie was about 2 minutes and 40 seconds. We did our best to trim down parts of the scenes as best as we could. A lot of the scenes could be trimmed which was very beneficial. The time now was around 2 minutes and 20 seconds. We took a scene out which got us to 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Then we went and found music for our movie and made sure that it was free. We fit the music into our footage and made sure everything sounded good. We were done for the day and decided that we will add our titles next time we meet.
