Genre Research: Choosing our genre

       For our movie we decided the best genre would be thriller. The other options we had were drama or horror. Although our movie had factors from each genre, we thought thriller would be the best option. Thrillers allow for suspense and make the audience wonder what could happen next. Our movie is about a person planning an attack and committing the attack but someone’s notices the attack. Will the person get ratted out or will he catch the person who knows what he did? We thing the suspenseful elements can truly capture this. Thriller makes possible high-tensions scenes so we think this is the best genre to capture our vision.
